You can enter the main sunken ship via an open doorway on the deck. Inside one of the overturned ship pieces on the ground is an Elixir in another chest. Swim around the outside edge of this cavern, staying low to the ground, to find a Mythril Shard in a chest. If he just swims around in circles, you missed some enemies.ĭolphin will take Sora straight through the rough current, next to exit to the Sunken Ship. When you can get the dolphin in an enemy-free area, Grab On to the dolphin to have him bring you to the Calm Depths. He can take you to the next area, but not while there are enemies nearby. Atlantica is finally added to Chronicles in the Journal.īack in the Undersea Valley, swim around and find the Dolphin. From top to bottom, you can find the following items: Torn Page (3/5), Cottage, and Mega-Potion. There are a few actual chests in the grotto. As you leave the palace, Ariel will point you towards the entrance to Ariel's Grotto, and the Sheltering Zone Heartless will begin to appear. Swim across the bridge and look below it for an Elixir in a white shell. Look towards the other end of this space to see a yellow shell, and open it for a Mythril Shard. From the entrance, swim down and to the left to find a white shell that holds a Cottage, then go around the pillars to the right for a Mega-Ether. You will start to see the Screwdiver spawn from here on out. In here is a white shell with a Mega-Potion. The trident's on the wall point to Triton's Palace, but if you look to the left of that hole, you should see the entrance to the Undersea Garden. Descend into the trench and check out the left side to find a blue shell with a Mythril Shard, then follow the trench to the end to find a white shell with a Mega-Ether. If you see three White Mushrooms standing perfectly still, you can spawn a rare enemy here, the Pink Agaricus. Defeat the enemies and then head into the Undersea Cave. If Sora gets caught in the geyser he will be shot back out into the Undersea Valley and you will have to retrace your steps back here. This leads to a room with a geyser in the center. When you enter the tunnel, hold right to hug the wall and enter that side tunnel. There are two trident symbols pointing to an offshoot path you can't see otherwise. Before moving anywhere, turn the camera to see down the tunnel. The current here is extremely strong, and will carry Sora all the way back to the Undersea Valley if you aren't careful. Descend into the trench and follow the tridents to the Calm Depths. They hold an Elixir and a Cottage, respectively.

Off to Sora's left you should see two more shells, one on a pillar and one against the far wall. Swim back up and follow the tridents along the wall. There is another alcove hidden under a ledge that leads to a Mythril in a white shell. Leave the alcove and sink down to find another white shell holding a Mega-Potion. Right ahead of Sora is a red shell with a Mythril Shard, and slightly to the right is a small alcove with a Mega-Ether in a white shell. Shells do not open if there are enemies nearby.įollow the trident markers on the wall into the Undersea Valley. Red shells need Fire, blue shells need Blizzard, and yellow shells only open with Thunder. The white shells only need to be smacked once to open, but there are a handful that require a spell. Most of the treasure chests here in Atlantica are in the shape of a clam shell. After they are gone, Attack the clam shell in the center to release Sebastian and Flounder, and find a save point. Play tag with Flounder to get used to the controls, then fight some Sea Neon enemies. The first scenes introduce you to Ariel, Sebastian, and Flounder. This control scheme is part of the final battle, so having an entire World to get used to the controls is actually quite helpful. Instead of jumping, you can now ascend as high as you want with, and instead of blocking or dodging, makes Sora descend.
